March 2013 (37.05799 Degrees, -122.07588 Degrees) San Lorenzo Way Bridge |
The San Lorenzo Way Bridge (36C0085) is a 160 ft long steel arch truss built in 1920. The truss members are so thin that it took me several minutes to recognize it as an arch. I scrambled up and down the steep river bank trying to take a photo that would capture the bridge's form. However, the dense foliage and branch-like truss members defeated all my attempts to take a decent picture of its structure.
