Placer County, California's Bridges: No Hands Bridge across the North Fork of the American River (5)

November 2012 (38.913 Degrees, -121.0416 Degrees) No Hands Bridge
The Foresthill Bridge, the Old Foresthill Bridge, the State Route 49 Bridge, and the 'No Hands' (Mountain Quarries) Bridge are the last crossings over the North Fork of the American River. For about 30 miles, there is no way to cross the river until we are downstream of Folsom Dam (in Sacramento County).
There are just a few crossings over the North Fork and almost half of them are pedestrian bridges. We still haven't been to the Soda Springs Road Bridge near the source of the river. We'll have to wait for it to stop raining (and snowing) to get a photo of that bridge. In the meantime, we can study some of the other interesting bridges in Placer County.
