Placer County, California Bridges: Sierra Blvd Bridge across the Union Pacific (2)

August 2012 (38.7542 Degrees, -121.2849 Degrees) Sierra Blvd Bridge
The Sierra Blvd. Overhead (19C0067) carries two traffic lanes and a sidewalk over the Union Pacific Railway Line. The arch span is 86.9 ft long and the bridge is 363.9 ft long, 30.2 ft wide (edge of deck to edge of deck) and it's on a tight horizontal curve.

It was built in 1929 making it eligible for registration as a historic structure. However, its functionally obsolete (lower load carrying capacity, narrower shoulders, and less clearance than bridges built to current standard). So the City of Roseville would have to spend a lot of money and do some work if they want to save this Beaux Art style concrete bridge.
