Placer County, California Bridges: Yankee Jim's Bridge across the North Fork of the American River (3)

August 2012 (39.04000 Degrees-120.90278 Degrees) Yankee Jim's Bridge
Yankee Jim's Bridge is very similar to the previously studied Iowa Hill Bridge. The main difference is the tin deck and the traffic allowed on Yankee Jim's. I found the bridge plans but they're hard to read. Typically, I have to get the microfiche, blow it up as large as I can, and get a magnifying glass to read the details on old bridge plans.
