San Francisco County, California Bridges: Presidio Parkway Viaduct

Continuing west we arrived at the construction site for the new Presidio Parkway Project that will eventually carry vehicles from Doyle Drive onto the Golden Gate Bridge. It includes tunnels and low and high viaducts. Note the use of the same color red on the rails and lamp posts as on the Golden Gate Bridge. The old, seismically deficient Marina and Presidio Viaducts were torn down to make way for this project.
