Calaveras County, California Bridges: Parrots Ferry Bridge across the Stanislaus River (3)

May 2013 (38.04583 Degrees, -120.44889 Degrees) Parrots Ferry Bridge
The Parrots Ferry Bridge is a 1293 ft long cast-in-place prestressed concrete box girder bridge with a 640 ft long center span and 400 ft tall concrete piers. The roadway is 32 ft wide between the curbs. The bridge was built in 1978 (just before the reservoir was filled) and is in satisfactory condition.
