Another bridge over a branch of the Urubamba River in Aguas Calientes. This is an intentionally quixotic structure, steel truss below, whimsical timber railing above. The bridge is supported by tall, stone masonry abutments and an off-center pier. Oddly-shaped hanging lanterns completes this unusual structure. It reminds me of the timber Mathematical Bridge over the River Cam at Queens College, Cambridge.
