Palm Beach County, Florida Bridges: Tequesta Drive Bridge across the North Fork of the Loxahatchee River

January 2014 (26.95778 Degrees, -80.10333 Degrees) Tequesta Drive Bridge
The last bridge I photographed in Palm Beach County is the Tequesta Drive Bridge (FDOT #930227) across the North Fork of the Loxahatchee River. It's a 181 ft long concrete slab bridge that was built in 1962 and renovated in 2008.
This structure is a good lesson on how not to decorate a bridge. South Florida architecture is Art Deco in pinks and aquamarines but decorations on this bridge don't cover the original structure which gives it an incongruous appearance. However, even if it completely covered the original structure it still wouldn't be very attractive.
