Tokyo, Japan's Bridges: Senjushin Bridges across the Arakawa
March 2012 (35.759 Degrees, 139.803 Degrees) Shinjushin Bridges
Continuing down the Arakawa we arrive at the Senjushin Bridges. In contrast to the bridges across the Sumida River, the Arakawa bridges are long, modern-looking structures with little ornamentation. The two Senjushin Bridges are 1464 ft long steel girder structures (with haunched main spans) that were built in 1978 and 1983.
