Amador County, California Bridges: Shenandoah Road across the South Fork of the Cosumnes River

March 2013 ( 38.54639° -120.73722°) Shenandoah Road Bridge
The last bridge (26C0014) across the South Fork of the Cosumnes River carries Shenandoah Road, which turns into Mt Aukum Road north of the county line. It's a single span, cast-in-place, prestressed box girder bridge that was built in 1985. Unlike the previous two South Fork Crossings, Shenandoah Road is classified as a major collector and the bridge carries 1970 vehicles a day. The bridge is in good condition and has a sufficiency rating of 93 out of 100.
