Amador County, California Bridges: Willow Creek Road Bridge across Dry Creek (1)

March 2013 (38.41374°, -120.90292°) Willow Creek Road Bridge
Continuing up Dry Creek we come to a two span T girder bridge on a pier wall and diaphragm abutments. The wingwalls don't appear to be attached to the abutments. The barrier rail looks worse than on the Cook Road Bridge, but this bridge has the excuse of having been built in 1951.

The sky is mackerel but the rain didn't arrive until after midnight. We'll take a closer look at this bridge tomorrow.
