Continuing on the Andaman Trunk Road, we came across this three span box girder bridge over the Dhanikari River. Bridge rails must be painted with yellow and black stripes in the Andamans. All the wing walls on this bridge were damaged during the 2004 earthquake and tsunami. However, I don't know if it was due to ground shaking or if the tsunami waves traveling up the river caused the damage.
