Australia's Bridges: Meadowbank Bridges across the Parramatta River in NSW (3)

March 2011 (-33.822 deg., 151.089 deg.) Meadowbank Bridges

A look from the west side at the John Whitton (or Meadowbank) Railway Bridge. The superstructure is two simply-supported, 156 ft long, welded steel box girders supporting a composite concrete deck. The bridge is five spans long and carries the electrified, double track Main North Railway Line over the Parramatta River.

I don't think I've seen too many yellow steel bridges for some reason. The old Meadowbank Bridge is almost totally hidden behind the new bridge. The old and new Ryde Highway Bridges can be seen in the background.
