We'll finish our tour of San Joaquin County with some bridges in the City of Stockton. Today's photo is a study of contrasts. The Port of Stockton Expressway (Daggett Road) Bridge (29C0420) is a new bridge that carries trucks across the San Joaquin River (Burns Cut-Off) onto Rough and Ready Island and the Port of Stockton. Beside it is the abandoned Pratt through truss swing bridge that carried traffic into the Port before the new bridge was built in 2007.
